Board-certified gastroenterologist Muhammad Naeem, MD, leads the team at Advanced Gastroenterology Associates of SA. At the warm, inviting practice in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Naeem provides expert diagnosis and treatment for a variety of gastroenterology conditions.
Dr. Naeem graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College, University Of Health Sciences Lahore medical school in 1984. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Louis University School of Medicine in Missouri. Dr. Naeem rounded out his medical studies with a fellowship in gastroenterology from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Following his postgraduate training, Dr. Naeem worked as a staff gastroenterologist at several practices throughout California and Texas. Since 2017, he has worked at Advanced Gastroenterology Associates of SA where he offers state-of-the-art advanced endoscopy services and immune system enhancement to optimize the treatment of digestive disorders.
Dr. Naeem is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He maintains memberships with the American College of Gastroenterology, the Texas Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Bexar County Medical Society, and the Texas Medical Association.
Throughout his career, Dr. Naeem has presented at several national meetings on various topics in the field of gastroenterology. He has also participated in research projects and contributed to publications related to gastroenterology, immunology, virology, and more.
